Here are some pictures of the girls from Sunday. They wouldn't get there pictures taken together, but they are still so very cute.

Snow day

Lucy has been so excited for the snow so today we just had to go out in it. We looked for all of snow things and went outside. Millie doesn't have any real snow clothes so she is wearing a pair of Doug's socks on her legs. She kept walking up along the house and then she would try to get in the snow and she would stuck.

Lucy loved the snow she made snow angels and ate a lot of snow.
Lucy and I started to make a snowman and she made the bottom almost all by herself . Doug came home for lunch and he helped us finish our snowman. We just love the snow!

A ladybug and a princess

Back in September Lucy started talking about what she would be for Halloween. She decided she wanted to be Belle and Millie was going to be a ladybug. I decided I could make Lucy's costume and I was going to make a monster costume for Millie. Well the Belle costume was so much work that when my mom found this cute ladybug costume at Walgreen's I couldn't resist. So this year for Halloween Millie was a ladybug and Lucy was Belle. Just like Lucy wanted.

Carving pumpkins

Here are the girls with there carved pumpkins. Lucy was so excited to carve her pumpkin. Here she is showing Doug how to carve hers in a princess face.

Ducks

We went to feed the ducks today. Lucy really liked throwing the bread. Here is her action shot throwing the bread and turning to smile.

Millie wouldn't throw the bread she just wanted to eat it.

Lucy

Lucy has had a very big and busy week. She got to start preschool at Mommy April's. She has been so excited getting ready for school. Look how cute she is in her new school clothes.

Millie

We have had a lot of new things happen in our house we will start with Millie. She has learned to fold her arms and yell amen if the prayer is too long. She can climb onto anything. I think she knew she was not supposed to be on the table that is why she is folding her arms.

She has learned not only how to climb on the chairs, but how to move them. Yes she is stealing cookie dough.

The newest thing she likes to do is push on her diaper until it gets right about here and then walk all around the house. This one drives Lucy crazy she will just keep yelling "Mom Millies diaper".

Even if she is naughty we still love our Millie.

Sprinkles

Tonight Lucy came running into the kitchen she was so excited the sprinklers where on. She hurried and put on her swimsuit to go outside. At first she was a little nervous to get in the water, but then she was just started running through the sprinklers. Lucy kept coming up to me asking if I saw her running through the "Sprinkles". She had so much fun. Millie would just put her hands in and feel the water. We love summer.

So Cute

Look how cute these girls are. Millie has started to try and say cheese. They are so much fun!

Last night we went to Doug's parents house for hot dogs. It was fun to play outside, but it was so hot. Grandma Nina decided we needed ice cream. She was right it was the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Millie was very excited because Daddy just gave her her own ice cream cone. She loved it. When we cleaned her up there was ice cream everywhere including down her diaper. Yuck. At least she enjoyed her treat.

Lucy

Last week was Lucy's birthday. She has been so excited just waiting for her big day. I made her some princess cakes while she had her rest. Lucy was so excited.

She got a barbie and a ken in this wonderful bag. I didn't think she could actually fit in this bag.

She also got a puppy sleeping bag. She loves it and we got her a bike. Lucy is still learning to ride her new pink bike.

Zoo

We went to the Zoo for Millie's Birthday. Gavin and my mom went with us. Lucy was really excited. We saw a giraffe, lions, tigers, penguins and a very hairy bear. Millie just wanted to walk by herself and not let anyone help. Lucy was very good and she loved the Zoo.

We saw Kimber and her kids at the zoo. Kimber gave Lucy a quarter to feed the goats. No one really wanted to help Lucy feed the goats, so she had to do it herself. What a brave girl.

Summer

Lucy has been very excited for Summer. Last week we went and bought a baby pool and today it was finally warm enough to fill it up. We had so much fun swimming and eating Popsicle's. Our backyard isn't finished just yet so it was a bit muddy. That's OK Lucy just took the mud in the pool. It was a nice muddy mess. Millie didn't really like the pool. In fact she just screamed when I tried to put her in. She just decided to sit in my chair and eat a Popsicle.

We went on a picnic up by Lucky Peak. The spillway was going full blast. Lucy really wanted to get in the water. Instead she just played in the rocks and picked some flowers (weeds). Millie loved just running around.
